The goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy children that will them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

Call your closest Marine Corps Reserve Unit or Coordinator to obtain Toys for Tots posters, toy collection boxes and other materials. Any toys collected at your drop off location or event, must be returned to the Marines no later than Dec. 18, 20007.

Caring Americans drop off new, unwrapped toys at collection boxes in local busineses. The toys are delivered to a central warehouse facility, where the toys are sorted by age and gender. As Christms nears, Marines distribute the toys to local schools, social service agencies and churches for ultimate distribution to needy childen on Christmas day.

While Marines organize, coodinate and manage the program, its ultimate success depends ujpon the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys.
